Why is Mental Health in the workplace so important?

1-2-1 Sessions vs. Group Worships 

Deciding on group, 1-2-1 sessions or a blend of both depends on the goals and objectives of the organisation discussed during the planning process.

Benefits of a group workshop

Group workshops are an ideal opportunity to focus on general goals and objectives for the organisation, communicate information to larger employee numbers, encourage discussion from multiple organisation departments and sector and is also an opportunity to focus on team building.  

Benefits of 1-2-1 Sessions

A 1-2-1 coaching or therapy session is perfect for addressing the specific goals of an individual employee.  This gives an employee additional space to focus on their own personal circumstances, and encourages an open and honest dialogue which some individuals may be more comfortable with within a more private setting.

Where and when?

During the planning stage, locations and timings will be confirmed, however options can include, onsite, offsite within a suitable venue,  within the Mind Loft office or online via Zoom or a similar alternative hosting system. 

1-2-1 Session Options


Confidential sessions designed to aid an employee who is experiencing mental health concerns. These include (but are not limited to): 

  • Stress Management

  • Anxiety

  • Depression

  • Trauma

  • Self esteem 

  • Building resilience 

 These sessions are ideal for employees who have reported early signs of pressures, or who are at risk of, or are currently, absent due to mental health concerns. 

Can be run within a group or 1-2-1 setting, there are many benefits to incorporating coaching within an organisation, This includes identifying employee strengths and potential, developing skills, aiding motivation and enthusiasm, improving employee retention and identify strengths within an organisation. 

Topics may include (but are not limited to): 

  • Problem Solving 

  • Improving communication skills

  • Developing long term goals 

  • Improving performance 

  • Building resilience
